Hipshake was formed in 1995, recorded 2 sets of demos and played various gigs in southern France. Telegram and Weather Conversation are from the first demo while Induced Speedy Folly is from the second one, recorded a few months later.
UNaware was formed in 1990 and went through various formations throughout the years. The band resurfaced in London in 2003 with the album Songs from the Andymen and played a few gigs at Hope and Anchor, Pleasure Unit and Brixton Telegraph, amongst others, all in London. In The Long Run is part of the Songs from the Andymen album, the full album can be listened to here. Au Seuil du Printemps and Le Vide de Décembre were recorded in Paris in 1994 for the compilation Labelle et Tais Toi.
Rabastenoid Planet Club Band was a side project developped over a few months in 1998. Microscars is part of these recording sessions.
The Joy Division cover of Day of the Lords was recorded on a 4-track recorder in 1996, Heartbreak Hotel (Elvis Presley's cover) and Too Pure (Sebadoh's cover) on the same 4-track recorder in 2001.
Slow It is a song written in 1995 and only recorded recently as a demo version.
Nightwheelin, I Feel Nothing and Desperate Hours below were originally recorded for the Crossroads, Middletown album.
